No sense of direction

I've lived in here in manila for like 21 years now, and up to now, I still get confused in the Ermita area. Mabini, M.H. Del Pilar, Padre Faura, Pedro Gil, Bocobo.. they all look the same to me. I went to RP last sunday to meet with some friends and instead of going down at Pedro Gil, I made para in Padre Faura. At first I was disoriented but then I saw this tall building that looks like Rob Place. Stupid thing is, for some reason I thought that RP was the only tall infrastructure in that area. Never mind that it can be a condominium or something... It must be RP. So with full confidence, I walked on.

Big mistake. I walked all the way to Hyatt. Dumbass. I was pretty tired from walking (and the badminton earlier that morning) and I desperately need something to drink. Good thing there's a 7-11 just around the corner. It's one of the certainties in life. When in a bind, there's always a 7-11 nearby. Convinient convinience stores.

Damnit, I really should pay attention to roads.

And on with the ramblings. I had some pretty weird dreams lately, but nothing tops the one I had earlier. In the dream, I was back in high school and get this, we had 2 new foreign exchange students from Russia. Then they hatched a really sinister plot to take over the world and all the while shouting "For the Fatherland! For Russia!". I woke up thinking.. What the hell was that? I have absolutely no idea how my subconcious got those bit and pieces. ><;; Some cookie psychic said that dreams contain hidden meanings. I wonder what this is all about? What deep philosophical insights did that dream contain? What socio-cultural implications did the Russians have? Why can't I dream of Charlize Theron instead?
