Sunday Post, for the lack of a better title...
Holy shit! That yearbook is fuggin heavy! ><;; How many batchmates do we have anyway? Man, and to make it worse, i have to carry it around as i commute. Where's a transdimentional gateway (kafra) when you need one? Good thing I didn't meet one of my enemies yesterday, kilala nyo na kung sino yan mwhahaha, or i'd have a 20 pound book with his name on it, somewhere. I wonder why they named it Aegis? And on a related note, what does Aegis mean? O.o I guess it's one of the more cool sounding 5 letter words so it was used.
Yesterday was a pretty good day. Really had fun. Shanghai Bistro is one of the better Chinese restaurants out there. Affordable and delicious. Or maybe I was just hungry that time.. But then again, since when did my opinions on restaurants matter? I keep on suggesting Monaco for dinner but noooo... XD There's this place in GB3 called Fusion and they got really cozy seats. They got like a mattress on the floor that the group can sit on, got to take your shoes off though so better wear your good socks. Then.. Karaoke night at Red Box!
Sunday was pretty damn lazy. Woke up at 1030 or so, had lunch, then slept again till 4. Wow, the day sure went by pretty fast. After that, I went to SM San Lazaro to buy some pants. Great mall (since it just opened), but crappy arcade. They got posters of Tekken 5 but there's no tekken 5 machine. Bah.
Finally watched Van Helsing earlier tonight. What can i say.. the whole movie was a series of very fortunate events. I mean, the frakenstein just HAD to crash on the vampire attacking Kate Beckinsale, and Kate catched a vial thrown to her while she was swinging at high speed 30 feet in the air, etc etc. Action was pretty good so I'm satisfied.
Oh and I finished the Book 6 of Harry Potter too.

yes, the yearbook is friggin heavy. we have something like 1000 batchmates i think (and this year, they have something like 1200 freshies?) and you can imagine how many faces you're going to see in that yearbook, not counting the barkada shots (i really think volume 5 would have been better with more pictures).
they didn't name it aegis. the yearbook theme title is "gnomon" (sounds like domon) which frankly i don't care to know (its in one of the pages in the yearbook) while aegis has always been the name of the org that takes care of yearbook stuff every year. there are quite a few typos, some sentences that needed editing, and no good reason to call each school as times of the day (for example, the school of management was named night or afternoon i think. but there was no explanation why. is management the last thing you do?)
you were pretty hungry at that time. i don't think shanghai bistro serves good food at all. there's plenty of other choices out there.
im waiting for van helsing 2. im really expecting that there's going to be a part 2 the movie seemed to be such a hit.
Van Helsing 2? Highly unlikely. I mean, there are no more vampires left ><;; Hmm but yeah, i hope they make a sequel. Maybe this time he can fight demons or something XD

"aegis" is the shield that zeus used to fight against the titans. its one of his two major weapons, the other being the thunderbolt.
how that relates to our yearbook, i don't really know.

Ooooh. Greek mythology master talaga lolz. So that's where it came from... Shield pala sya. Oh well, meron sa AD&D, hammer ni Wulfgar, Aegis Fang. Kaparty ni Drizzt na nahuli ng demon, tapos habang wala sa party si Wulfgar, nagkaroon ng affair si Drizzt tska ung chicks ni Wulfgar na kaparty rin nila. What a friend huh? XD
