fight fight blue and white!

Wow. What a massacre ><;; ADMU as down by 20+ points pretty much the whole game. It's funny, you'd expect me to be sad while watching the game, but the fact is, I'm not. Amused, even. Sad is when you're watching a close game, then on the dying seconds Robert Horry hits a fuggin 3 pointer, then gives his smug "i-knew-that-was-going-in" look (Horry, if by any chance you're reading this, SCREW YOU!) Yes, I am brave in cyberspace XD. But when you're team is down by 20 the whole game, it's not really that depressing since you know your team going to lose anyway.

So anyway, for the first three quarters, "shooting" the ball is an overstatement for Ateneo. It's proper term should be "randomly throwing the ball into the air and hoping for the best". Assuming of course they don't turn the ball over (I think they had nearly 20 in the game). The only player worth watching is Tenorio, although Aguilar is a pretty good defender and Membrere this season is a big improvement over the benchwarmer membrere in the previous seasons. Crappy offense, Crappy defense, Turnovers galore... *sigh* Intal has no offensive skills whatsoever aside from the dunk (or the attempted-dunk that got a lucky foul call), I don't see why everybody is sooo hyped up when talking about this guy ><

But then again, it's really pretty hard to fill the shoes of the graduate players of the 2002 Ateneo team. Villanueva+Alvarez= excellent front court. Tenorio+Fonacier+Gonazales= excellent back court. That kind of line up is very hard to come by. We also had decent substitutes back then too. Compare it with this season... Aguilar < Villanueva, Kramer < Alvarez, Intal < Fonacier, and nobody in the league is better than Wesley Gonzales (ung magandang gising na wesley). As for the substitutes, there is no one worth a damn save for Escalona and Jai Reyes (i think).

Lastly, my props to Kramer. Wow, he really improved this season. Grabbed lots of rebounds, solid D, surprisingly good hands, and he lost his tendency to dunk the ball every time he gets it (thank god). But then again, he was tossed around like a rag doll by Arwind Santos, but he's still pretty good. I just hope his performance isn't a one game fluke. The Ateneo team did a really great job in the 4th quarter, managing to cut down the lead to 9 (from a high of 27 in the 4th quarter ata). Of course, this happened because of Tenorio, the heart and soul of the team (as stated by the commentators EVERY TIME TENORIO GETS THE BALL, tenorio, the heart and soul of the ateneo desperately trying to rally his team, loop). So, anyway, despite losing by 12, a game well played especially by tenorio and kramer. We claim moral victory, like we always do XD

I agree... Screw Robert Horry! Robert Horry can kiss my brown Filipino A**!!

Once again the Ateneo Blue Eagles get massacred... What's new?

If I were one of those annoying court side announcers who try to get into the huddle and listen in to what the coach is saying, I would be saying this:

"During the time out, coach norman black told his boys to give up trying. What's the point anyway? Trying will just delay our inevitable loss. Coach Norman Black told his boys to just lay down and die and that they are the sorriest excuse for a basketball team he has ever coached... back to you Boom and Randy!"

We suck dammit!!!

norman black pprobably said that.

another reason why he didn't get the "coach carter" role.

Tsk tsk, ADMU ain't that bad. I find your lack of faith distrubing XD

hey hogwarts boy,

nasa admu ka pa rin and you're already giving up on them? haven't you learned from your "blue eagle" experience not to count us out yet?

the ateneo team right now is basically, tenorio and friends. we can't FREAKING SHOOT. sure, we've got awesome interior defense, but we can't defend the perimeter and unless its a dunk, no one outside of tenorio can get the freaking ball inside the hoop.

let's get em next year! (of course, tenorio would have graduated already and we'd suck more)
